Abstract: Described is a novel approach to using query functionality in the distributed query platform, PopMedNet (PMN), to target data sources that do not conform to common data models recognized by PMN-powered data networks. We describe the integration of open source tools to illustrate that PMN can query new models based on a subset of data that adhere to a data model recognized by PMN.

Learning Objective 1: The learner should be able to describe the value in creating a query tool that can be extensible to multiple "data models" regardless of collaboration or affiliation, but determined by consistency in data capture
