Abstract: Antimicrobial stewardship programs promote appropriate antimicrobial use, however, limited resources can make implementation challenging. We developed and evaluated the utility of a mobile web-based application as an antimicrobial stewardship intervention. The app featured local antimicrobial resistance data and provided prescriptive advise for clinical conditions. Evaluation involved app usage and impact on antibiotics use. Results showed the web-based app is practical and feasible to implement in low-resource settings and suggested reduction in antibiotics use.
