Abstract: This study sought to evaluate the impact of a home-based iPad program on chronic low back pain and associated psychological factors. Participants completed a 6-week program that provided pain education and exercises. Pain, fear, depression, and other factors were assessed at baseline and completion. Participants had a significant reduction in pain and improved energy. These results can be used to expand the program and improve access to physical therapy.
Learning Objective 1: Evaluate an iPad program as a means of improving chronic pain patient outcomes.
