Bio

I am a research assistant in Applied Intelligent Systems Lab (AISLab) in HES-SO Valais working under supervision of Prof. M. Schumacher. I am also an external doctoral student at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL in Distributed Information Systems Laboratory, my co-advisor is Prof. K. Aberer. I work in the area of health informatics, in particular, on how to achieve interoperability between heterogeneous sources of medical data while ensuring data security and patients’ privacy. I am interested in applied security, privacy-preserving data aggregation, big data and multi-agent systems. I believe that intelligent data mining of patients’ health information can help to attain personalized medicine and advance healthcare.
